When Press Pass signed Andrew Luck to an exclusive deal, it was to make a statement to the other unlicensed companies about their seriousness for 2012. Luck is the best prospect in the last couple of decades, and there is no doubt he will at least have a great chance to follow in the steps of guys like Cam Newton and Sam Bradford.
After seeing some of the initial numbers on his first live autographs, I am somewhat shocked at what I am seeing. I expected them to be high, but not anywhere close to where they are starting off. I can only imagine what they would have been like in a better looking leaf product. Bottom line, this is going to be a fruitful year, if current trending in the QB rookie classes continues to hold true.

I still have issues with some of the Press Pass designs, and with Luck autographs coming as soon as Bowman Signature and Playoff Prestige shortly after the draft, the window of high value on these cards should be small. They will ALWAYS carry some value, but to think that they will remain at this level when the true licensed products arrive will be a pipe dream.
Secondarily, at this point, Luck is labeled as a cant miss prospect, but at this point, that is all he is. Cant miss prospects can miss. Im not sure if I am comfortable investing two to three hundred dollars into a guy who hasn’t taken a snap in a league where people fail at a 75 percent clip.
Im always amazed that year after year people buy pre draft product and the prices “paid” for the singles
Any idea on bowman sig release date and if it will be in college or pro(airbrush or shopped) unis??
