Inscriptions have become a growing part of the hobby, as you have probably seen from my frequent posts on the subject. Press Pass, although not my favorite product ever, has always stood at the forefront of getting these types of cards signed frequently for their products. I have never bought any of them because of my lack of interest in college cards, but I do like seeing what is signed each year.
This year, Press Pass is definitely taking advantage of the big name blue chip prospects, as well as the prestigious programs they are going to make their alma-maters.

I stand by the fact that inscriptions are the future of autograph content in this hobby, however, I cannot understand why anyone would want to buy a card where the player ONLY signs the inscriptions and not their name. Its really a shame that Press Pass cannot even operate in the the NCAA market like they used to, which makes these cards even less valuable than they normally would be.
It has become painfully obvious how stale a lot of content has become in the recent releases, as regardless of design, its still the same thing over and over again. With inscriptions, you have unlimited possibilities that could drive content forever. A three color patch doesnt change card to card, but there are always more things to attach to a signature.
