If you have been following along on eBay, or managed to get your hands on some early retail like me, you have seen the way the Bowman Chrome cards look this year. They look exactly like the ones in Topps flagship, but with a gold finish.

As I said before, during my recaps of the base brand, the design for these cards is top notch this year. In fact, it is as good as the base Topps design, if not better. To add on the gold border really makes these cards pop, and much to my happiness, many of them feature hard signed, low numbered parallels.
I broke two blasters today, and was thrilled to pull BC cards of both Cam Newton and Christian Ponder. Not only did it make me want the autographed ones that much more, but it showed exactly why Bowman Chrome will be sorely missed this year.

I also wish there was a Bowman Chrome Football this year. But taking what I can get, this year’s Topps Chrome is awesome. I hope Topps made enough to supply the huge demand for Topps Chrome.
