The First of the Super Bowl Black Friday Relics Have Surfaced

No doubt, the best cards in the Panini Black Friday packs are the Super Bowl Relic cards, taken from endzone pylons and footballs used in the games. A few have already been posted on eBay and sold, but there has yet to be an Aaron Rodgers pulled and posted so far.

Well, the first pylon non-autograph is up, and its a biggie.

This card definitely has more value to a Packers fan due to the significance of the game, but now that they are 11-0, these could be some of the most valuable Rodgers cards ever made. Back a few years ago, Topps made cards for Tom Brady that contained pieces of game used footballs, and they continually sell for huge money. These will be no different, regardless of who the player is that graces the front.

Here are some of the others, I really think these are the best of the year for Panini:

Clay Mathews Super Bowl Pylon Card

James Starks Super Bowl Pylon Card

Charles Woodson Super Bowl Pylon Card

Personally, I absolutely love these cards as I think these unique pieces of Packers and Super Bowl history, are awesome to have in cards. Once the Rodgers autographed versions of these cards end up on eBay, I think there may in fact be a collective gasp from the people who are waiting with baited breath. I know if I were a Packers’ fan, I would be one of them.

  1. I pulled the Polamalu Pylon card and couldn’t be happier. Panini hit a homerun with this program.
