A Great First Look At Live Topps Five Star Cards

Today, Topps released a preview photo from the first of many Five Star signing sessions that they will be doing for their upcoming super high end release. They sure picked a doozy to display as these cards look incredibly amazing. I have a huge amount of anticipation building for this set, especially when this is the first product of the year to use 100% hard signed signatures from BOTH veterans and rookies.
So far, there has only been one other on card auto from non-rookies in a set, and it was a collection in 2010 Classics of the 2010 HOF class. Other than that, there has been ABSOLUTELY ZERO other hard signed veteran cards, compared to hundreds last year from the likes of Ultimate, SP Authentic, and Exquisite.

  1. These cards look amazing. I will definitely be getting some of the veteran and hall of famer autograph cards.

  2. Sure throw the Favre eye candy out, but how much gum under the table will be in the product.

  3. Just awesome. All you have to do is looks at this years Nascar 5 star cards on ebay and just marvel at how awesome this product will be

  4. I don’t know… Just not feeling it. I’m not a fan of the booklets, although for a booklet it looks good. But I really hate how floating, legless Favre looks on the “Iron Man” inscription card.

  5. Well shoot, that actually looks kind of neat. For some reason the 70’s picure frame gold foil
surrounding the jersey swatches actually looks kind of cool……….huh. I can feel my debit card warming up.

  6. So I guess these actually have 5 autos per pack if you count the dual that’s supposed to be in every pack.
