Why Are People This Stupid?

Kickstand forwarded me this auction of a fake SPA Peterson Viking head logo, and I am shocked for a few reasons. Obviously, there is not even a question that this card isnt real, and Kickstand even included the pic of the real card to prove it. Ill get to that in a second.

First, its almost like no one understands that the stiching on any Vikings NFL authentic jersey is not flat like it is in this patch. The Vikings heads have much different stitching, which most of the time can be determined simply by going on the NFL website. If you are going to spend 500 plus dollars on this card, why wouldnt you just go take a look? Its fucking ridiculous to me.
Second, and even more shocking, this fucking douchebag destroyed a three color patch card to create this abomination. If you look at the before pics, you can see why the actual real card will be worth MORE than the money he gets for the fake. For this I fucking laugh, because you know he is too dumb to buy a regular one color patch for his crime, and instead uses the most expensive one available. I dont think I have ever seen a douchebag fail so hard.
Lets all laugh with me as we report this assfuck.

Peterson Viking Head Number Four Now Up

I sincerely hope that people arent THIS stupid to bid on a card like the Viking Head Logo that was just posted on eBay. This is actually number four that has been listed, the third of the fakes. It could also be the worst ever posted, as you can see the colors, stitching, and material dont match any authentic jersey ever worn.

Of course, this one is so fucking bad, that Im not actually going to feel bad for the person who buys it. Now, the card still is a Peterson exquisite, so its worth something, but it shouldnt go for anywhere near the 21oo the last horrid fake went for. Considering that the people who buy on eBay are some of the dumbest people in the history of the world, I will not be surprised if this one ends in similar fashion.
Be sure to check out the other posts I have done on the Peterson fakes, including the Tuff Stuff article as well. Upper Deck better get on this shit before someone else burns a whole car worth of cash for clunkers money on a fake.
EDIT: Here is the counter auction, exposing him. H/t Kickstand.
EDIT 2: AUCTION HAS BEEN REMOVED

Sometimes Its Just A Little TOO Obvious

We all know that the fakes have spread to as far back as 2001 and as far forward to 2008. Im sure its only a matter of time before the 2009 fakes hit ebay, which is really too bad.

Here is a seller that doesnt really get how to sell these, especially when half of the entire Jonathan Stewart print run is in his store.
Im just curious when Topps will step in, if ever. This has become a very unfortunate situation.

Questionable RPA Now Has Slab?

I saw this on eBay yesterday and something just doesnt look right. Im sure that the slab was real at one point, as the registry on it says that the number refers to a Peterson red that was graded a 10. The problem is, the autograph just looks off, and it could just be Peterson’s oft messy sig. However, when you look at the real RPAs, I begin to question the authenticity of this card.

The other thing is that I wonder how long it will take for the fake RPAs to be slabbed as real and then sold as such. We know they are very obviously fake, but all it takes is a bad day for one of the HUMAN people to arbitrarily assign a real cert to one of these.
You be the judge:

People Are Just Stupid

I was looking around on eBay when I saw a situation that just screamed EPIC FAIL.

I have been keeping tabs on these fake autographs, and I am actually convinced that the scam ones actually outnumber the real ones now. Either way, when you see one that is actually real posted in between the horrible fakes, with the fakes having more than 15 bids each, I laugh. There are actually that many people who think these cards are real. Considering that the autos on these cards look ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like any other auto any of the players have ever signed, I am curious as to how stupid you actually have to be to spend hundreds of dollars on one.

Maybe its the same people that buy these:
