Stopped by Sports Cards Plus here in San Antonio to pick up my pre-ordered box, and I must say that I got pretty lucky with the results of my break. Not the GREATEST players, but still pretty nice to pull a 1/1 or 1/4 depending on how you look at it.
I just got done breaking the boxes, luckily Noah was cooperative during the filming. Because I filmed in HD, the videos are going to take a very long while to upload to Youtube, but they should be up by the end of tonight.

Classics may have been a disappointment so far, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have to take advantage of it. I want to offer a group break of 2 boxes of Classics that you all can get into for less than the cost of three packs.
Here is the way this is going to go down. $13.50 buys you one slot of two random teams in the break. For those two teams, which will be assigned via random.com, you will receive all cards from the two boxes. If you get the Broncos and the Eagles, you will get every card for the Broncos or Eagles that we pull, even if it’s a 1/1 Tim Tebow autograph. If nothing comes from those two teams, thems the breaks. There are four hits per box with two autos on average, so you will have a pretty good chance of getting something. Dual, triple, and quad cards will be randomly assigned to the teams involved.

As the host, I will NOT be participating, but I will be videotaping both the random team assignment and the break itself for those who participate. It will be viewable on this site as soon as it is up on Youtube. The break will happen next Tuesday, 8/3/2010 and if it is not filled, we will have to figure something out. Usually cheap breaks fill quickly so do not hesitate.

I wanted to try out a few boxes of Elite because it is the first pro uniform product of the year for the rookies, and I am very glad that I did. I am always a sucker for the first product like this, but usually end up always regret it, not this time! I pulled two autos of GREAT players, and one low numbered auto of an okay player. I also pulled some good rookies and a Patch. Its not like I pulled a passing the torch dual auto or anything, but it could have been A LOT worse. Thanks to Chris and Pat at BlowoutCards.com for the great prices on these boxes. If you havent started buying all your boxes from them, you need to start now.
As you can see, if I were a Patriots fan, this would have been the best break I could have had.
