If you are like me, the opportunity to interact with the companies who produce the cards we collect is always a welcome experience. Luckily for the patrons of Mike’s Stadium Sportscards in Colorado, they will have just that opportunity with Upper Deck.

On top of that, they are not just getting some low level rep there to pimp their wares, but will instead get to do a meet and greet with Chris Carlin. On top of being someone that I feel does things right around the industry, Carlin is one of the most knowledgeable people I have had the pleasure of dealing with during SCU’s run.

Mike has been a reader of SCU for a long time and has become a favorite contact of mine when it comes to news about upcoming products.  He values his customers in a way that I dont see very often with local stores, and you can tell a Mike’s patron on the boards because of their loyalty to his shop’s prices and events.

If you live in the Denver area and want to stop by, I would definitely jump at the opportunity. There will be giveaways and an opportunity to talk with the man himself about UD’s upcoming calendar and any other questions, so come prepared.
