With 2011 Topps American Pie, The Charlie Sheen Jokes Are Back

Im not usually someone who cares about non-sport autographs unless they are someone REALLY worth getting, but this is one that I find pretty interesting. Charlie Sheen signed a bunch of autographs for Topps AFTER all the huge news went down from his departure from Two and a Half Men, and the first of these autos is now live on eBay.

After an entire summer of hearing people talking about tiger blood and winning! this and that, these cards should be pretty popular. There were some of them that were actually inscribed “winning!” per solicitation of the product, but Im not sure how long it will be before those start to pop up.

Sheen has been featured a few times in other sets, and his autographs sell incredibly well considering the circumstances. Im not a fan of his, but I am a fan of some of his sports movies like Major League. After the world followed along through his cocaine filled rants on national television, he will forever be a part of American entertainment history.

2011 Topps American pie is proving to be an odd source of fun for a lot of collectors who like non-sport cards, and with autographs like Charlie Sheen to help drive the chase, it might be something worth ripping for a fun time.
